The size of installation depends principally on the amount of hot water your household typically uses. The more panels you require, the more expensive the installation, but you’ll also be saving more. Here’s an example of the installation costs and subsequent savings for a typical 3-bedroom house.
For our example of a 3-bed house, the savings might be in the region £50 to £85 per year. Importantly, it will save in the region 570kg of CO² if it’s replacing electricity, or 250kg of CO² if it’s replacing gas.
Maintenance – it’s recommended that you take a look at the panels every year to make sure everything seems OK, and have them checked more thoroughly by us every 3-5 years, just to make sure that they are secure, and that they are working optimally.
